Search for the problems

Yesterday and today afternoon I had the second and third meetings with my Research tutor. Regina introduce two students who are doing the graduation design to me, they are also studying the interior environment of the faculty, which has a lot of common ground with my plan to study, and I therefore get a lot of the information contained measuring temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide concentrations as well as the heating system temperature data in the building, that can help me understand the current physical environment disadvantage of the buildings, but also an important foundation information for the development of design.

  1. Chang,

taht is great news, and it looks like interesting data on the state of the building as it is. It would be great to translate that now into a design proposal that addresses whow you would like to respond to the existing conditions and what range of possible interventions you see. Ideally this should be translated into a a proposal that shows how a proposed addition of yours would influence the climate in the building, and how it would be linked to geometric and material properties of your proposed addition. Maybe for monday you could try to develop a simple sectional facade model in a parametric fashion that allows you to vary some of the factors of the facade and ideally integrate some of the data you have into it.
For instance the drop of temperature from inside to outside through the wall section.
this could be done in Generative components or in grasshopper as an interactive tool.
